Chris Palmer who judges from club to international level and is in much demand came to Park Street to judge our final contest of the season. As would be expected of such an experienced judge his comments were very appropriate and constructive. Chris suggested that some of the prints particularly those on gloss might have benefited from being printed on a matt paper. He also said that sometimes by temporarily turning an image upside down to look at it is easier to spot small distracting areas of colour or density.
Initially Chris held back 17 images for a second look before making his final decisions. Many thanks to Chris for an enjoyable evening.
