Welcome to Park Street Camera Club

We are a friendly club founded in 1962 comprised of members of all abilities and styles. Whether your preference be serious competition photography, holiday snaps or images taken on your mobile phone you will feel comfortable – we cover it all.

The annual programme includes regular competition nights for both projected images and prints as well as talks from external speakers and members covering all genres. We also have occasional practical evenings at the club when we might for example, hire a model, indulge in some table top photography or in the summer go out for walks. The Club aims to provide all those interested in photography with an opportunity to improve their knowledge, skill and enjoyment of the art.

We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and also the Chiltern Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) which allows us to compete regularly with other clubs in the area. We ourselves stage one of the most prestigious of these events where each year a selected dozen clubs, including us, compete for the Landscape Cup. There are also a number of other season-long events that bring us into contact with all the clubs in the CACC.

The Club year runs from the start of September to the end of July, with short breaks for Christmas and Easter. We meet on Thursday evenings 7:45 for 8pm at St Stephens Parish Centre. Station Road, Bricket Wood AL2 3PJ. This is a long, single storey, cream building just south of the junction of Station Road and Smug Oak Lane. It has ample car parking to the rear.

We are always keen to include new members and you will receive a warm welcome and be under no obligation to join if you visit us on a club evening.
